Snakes alive!
We've had a couple too many snake sightings at our house lately. Here's the big one dh killed yesterday. It's a plain-bellied water snake according to my Audobon Guide.
There was a small one in the garage a couple days ago I almost stepped on. =:-O

We seem to have a lot lately, too. I think here it is the rain bringing them out. Found a dead rat snake recently that the chickens killed.
Ugh! Ugh! Ugh!
I'll take the snake skin over the live snake any day.
