Well, as another school-year comes to an end (we are year-rounders), another one begins. Hence, it's order time...
I've come to the conclusion that I need something that's effective but easy to implement in a large, busy family. I've bought many things over the past 12 years that *sounded* great but were too complicated to actually put into use over the long haul of family-centered learning and living.
So I've once again decided to use CHC's Language of God Series. It's a very thoroughly approach to language arts without making a mountain out of a mole-hill. ;-) I also have many of their non-consumable titles already that will be in use this year, including Devotional Stories for Little Folks and other read-alouds.
I'll be homeschooling a 6th grader, 3rd grader, kindergartener and a preschooler. The oldest 2 are attending St. Thomas More Academy, a senior and a freshman this year.
Wow... he's a senior! That alone deserves another blog post soon...
